Rio Tinto welcomes you to the largest fancy red diamond ever coming out of Argyle. The Argyle Everglow is a 2.11-carat diamond certified as Fancy Red VS2 by Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The red rock is completely rocking the 2017 Argyle Pink Diamond Tender. This annual event showcases the very best among all the extraordinary diamonds unearthed at Argyle during the year.
Argyle pink diamonds are coveted by many, but enjoyed by few. The Tender is an invitation-only event for specially selected collectors & diamantaires.

“How Much for That Fancy Red Diamond? One is bound to think. Well, it is a Secret. Markets are seeing double digit percentage appreciation in prices of fancy colored diamonds in general and red diamonds from Argyle in particular. Subtleties of the pricing are confidential. The élite world of colored diamond has a select consortium of buyers. And the supply of colored diamond is super scarce. Many a times a single carat costs more than a million. Rio Tinto invites a privileged few to put forward sealed bids for the gemstones in the collection. The process is completely opaque. No one knows the bid amount for the stones and Rio Tinto does not tell anyone.
The 2017 Argyle Pink Diamond Tender will be exhibited in New York, Hong Kong & Perth. The bids close on October 11 2017.
